Definition and concepts

This indicator measures the mortality rate attributed to unintentional poisoning. Unintentional poisoning is measured as defined by the International classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision (ICD-10) codes corresponding to the indicator includes X40, X43, X46-X48, X49.
