| Definition and concepts |
The indicator shows the number of persons employed in tourism industries in any of their jobs. The tourism industries comprise all establishments for which the principal activity is a tourism characteristic activity. This is an activity that typically produces tourism characteristic products, as defined in the International Recommendations for Tourism Statistics 2008 (IRTS 2008) (United Nations and World Tourism Organization, 2010). |
